PLEASE SAVE EVERYTHING UNTIL YOU ARE SURE YOU ARE KEEPING YOUR NEW VALVE
Backwater-Valves.com offers a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. Here’s how it works:
If you think you may want to return your valve or alarm, do not use it. We inspect each valve and alarm that we sell to insure it is in brand new, working order. If your returned valve or alarm shows signs of being used, we will be unable to refund your money as we do not sell used valves or alarms and there are sanitary issues.
You must pay for all return shipping costs. Items shipped "Collect” will be refused.
Your returned valve must be postmarked within 30 days of the order date and you must first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number from us. This RMA Number should be clearly written on the outside of the box to help us match the return with your paperwork. Packages without an RMA make it nearly impossible to determine who is to be refunded.
For your own protection, you may wish to use delivery confirmation or insure the valve you are returning. If you choose not to do so, all liability is yours.
Return the valve with all original manuals, warranty cards (not filled out), etc. and any other materials that came with the valve.

A restocking fee of $19 per valve will be charged for all returns to cover restocking and credit card processing expenses, and original outbound shipping charges can not be refunded.

NOTE: backwater-valves.com is independently owned and operated and resells products produced by various manufacturers and assumes no liability for the installation of backwater valves and related products. Please be sure to check with the plumbing authority in the municipality in which your valve is to be installed to insure that your installation is in compliance with local code, and be sure your valve is inspected by your local plumbing inspector after installation is complete. Be sure to meet or exceed the 2% minimum slope requirement and to observe the laminar flow rule requiring installation no closer than 24” downstream of any branch take off. Inspect your valve frequently (at least once every 3 months and after any condition that may have backed contaminants up to the gate). Inspect the Backwater Valve through its clear plastic housing top, and the Adapt-A-Valve, by removing the gate cassette.
